Response 2:

You should try to make it into the background of an episode of The Wire before you leave.

Response 3:

As for Bmore, gosh, I always miss the farmer’s
markets on saturday and sunday. I wish I would have
come up with more excuses to wander the peabody.
Being near Seattle, I’ve become more and more
intrigued with “urban camping”. It has yet to work
out, but I keep my eye out for spots that would harbor
a tent and relative privacy all under the eyes of the
city. Just last week came an opportunity of camping
out on a school lawn to act as security guards for the
annual plant sale that goes on. I think this always
goes back to my childhood and never getting a chance
to sit in on the rose parade. Lawnchairs, tvs on
extension chords plugged into some unsuspecting
storefront, sleeping bags, makings for smores, and of
course a fastfood joint just a 5 minute walk away. Of
course now I would probably replace that joint with a
bar. So there it is, me just missing the big city.

Response 4:

go to old places that have not yet been gentrified- alot of the past is being rebuilt, sanitized, & pasturized- try to see old things & places for what they really were- not how builders like to envision them-
