One thing to note is that all online backup services are not created equal. We've had many Mozy users switch over to IDrive Online Backup for similar reasons. Also, IDrive is faster, performs better, and offers True Archiving (your files stay on IDrive's severs until you manually delete or sync them). So if you've backed up 5,000 photos and delete them off your local computer, they would stay on IDrive's servers and give you that peace of mind.
