My Dad had a saying, "little snow, big snow", meaning when it started out with tiny flakes that looked like it wouldn't amount to much, it ended up being a lot of snow. Your pictures prove it true once again. When I was a young child growing up in Iowa we'd often have snow before Thanksgiving. And we never had snow days! It still surprises me that a small amount of snow closes schools here on the East coast.
Loved the last couple essays! And Happy Thanksgiving! Let us know if that Hutterite turkey was better then those frozen Butterballs so popular back here.

Sheeyit, it is still getting into the fuggin 80's here in Austin. I have the feeling I'll be a little puddle next summer. If it gets in the 40's, they might declare a state of emergency!

Better get some chains for the Corolla. And one of those sweaters for the Zu.
